My teacher, Ms. Merritt, is a really good teacher who helps me do my best in class every day. She explains our work in a way that is easier to understand, and if we don’t get it the first time, she goes over it again and breaks it down step by step so we can follow along. Her lessons are clear, and she gives us practice problems and activities that help us remember what we learned instead of just forgetting it after class. She also makes class more interesting by asking us questions and letting us share our ideas, so we don’t just sit there and listen the whole time. This makes me more excited to go to her class because I know I will learn something new and not feel so lost or confused. She shows she cares about us by checking on us, listening when we talk, and taking extra time to explain assignments in different ways until they make sense. If I’m having a hard day or struggling with my work, she is patient and helps me calm down and try again. Because of her, I feel more comfortable speaking up and asking questions in class instead of just staying quiet. I’m not as scared to make mistakes anymore, and I feel more confident about my schoolwork. I think I am a better and more focused student because of her. I’m really glad she is my teacher, and I appreciate everything she does for our whole class.
