Mr. Burkhardt makes all his students feel welcomed and accepted in his classroom. I transferred in a semester late, and, on the first day, went to the wrong class and was late to his, but somehow I forgot that I felt like an idiot because of the welcoming atmosphere. Every class is lively, and I look forward to the end of the day after such stressful other periods. Even if students don't reciprocate his energy every day, Mr. Burkhardt is always trying, and I find that to be very admirable.
