STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

When you're a newcomer, whether at school or work, it's difficult, especially in a new environment. But when you surround yourself with the right people, something changes. And since not everything is always perfect, when I arrived in the United States, I stumbled MANY times. Unfortunately for me, I was helped by the wrong people, maybe not because they were bad friends, but because they themselves had also been helped by the wrong people. After getting into a huge problem, I didn't know what to do. I felt judged and watched. The definition of "bad" at that moment described me perfectly. After feeling terrible, even after talking to the counselors, I knew that my only option was to wait for everything to pass (none of this stopped swirling around in my head). Then SHE arrived, Miss Fuerte, or rather, Veronica Fuerte Antaramian. It was like a salvation. Besides feeling comforted by her in her class, she felt warmly familiar. Let me tell you a little about her: she's an excellent teacher, very proud of her Mexican heritage and roots. As soon as she found out and saw me enter her classroom, she hugged me and asked how I was. She took me out of the classroom and talked to me. She offered her help and asked what she could do for me. So, if I had to say that she's the best teacher I've ever known, I would say it, and I will continue to say it. From :Franyeli vargas puntiel
