I would like to nominate Mrs. Tristin Thomas. She has been my daughter's Pre-K teacher this year and her reputation precededed her. A few of the school staff spoke extremely high of her and urged me to request for my daughter to be put in her class. Which I did. I have truly been blessed to have my daughter in her class this year. Not only is Mrs. Thomas a great teacher, highly communicative, meticulous in her lessons and deliberate in making sure every child gets the necessary amount of attention and engagement, but she is kind-hearted and an absolute pleasure to be around. If anyone deserves this honor, it is her. My daughter has excelled so much this year and after having a tumultuous time health wise, I was worried that her health would affect her cognitivly. Mrs. Thomas worked with her, provided consistent communication with me and sent plenty of activities that we could do with her at home. Being in Mrs. Thomas' class, without a doubt, created a launching pad for my daughter's educational experience. For that, I am most grateful.
