Congratulations to
Life-Changing Teaching Award Nominee
TONI HALL
ELDORADO HIGH SCHOOL
STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY
Ms. Hall has been one of the most enthusiastic teachers in the CTE programs offered at our school. While she doesn’t have a background in cybersecurity, she’s genuinely excited to learn alongside us, sharing what she’s learned and what she is willing to teach us as she grows. She has invested an immense amount of time pursuing grants to upgrade our lab so students here can have the same opportunities as students at other schools. One notable grant she secured was a $10,000 grant from SentinelOne, which allowed us to use and practice with new resources and helped our team achieve a national 3rd-place placement in a cybersecurity competition.
Her support also extends beyond the classroom. She has helped me lead the SkillsUSA Career and Student Organization, something that started as a club and has become a welcoming after-school space for students of all experience levels. She has even spent some of her own money to provide food for our meetings and has brought kitchen supplies from home to help us feel comfortable and supported.
Professionally, Ms. Hall has gone above and beyond by helping provide our program with access to cybersecurity certifications. Because of that support, I was able to earn four industry-recognized certifications, which has helped me feel prepared and confident for opportunities after high school.
Ms. Hall is truly one of a kind, someone who keeps a smile even on days when others can’t. I’m wishing her the very best after I graduate, and I’ll carry forward the same spirit and positivity she shows every day.
