Mrs. Lacroix, my 1st and 2nd quarter teacher for English IV, helped me out a lot with being tactful and efficient in my work. I really found comfort in her wisdom because i felt a sense of understanding between her and me. She respected that I chose to learn rather than slack off, and helped me out rather than let me struggle along with the students who hadn't cared for her lessons. Not only that, but she showed me quantity doesn't always equal quality, and helped me out with my senior thesis so that I could ace it while enjoying what im writing about. She showed me how to break down my writing portions, as well as how to cite my sources, and - although I really oppose using AI, she helped me use AI in a professional way - rather than to cheat. I have no trouble writing long pages of paragraphs, nor essays ever since. Since my mother passed, i guess i viewed her as an important woman figure in my life.
