Ms. Lacroix is honestly one of the best because she always keeps it real with us. She doesn’t sugarcoat things, but she also isn’t mean she just makes sure we’re on the level we’re supposed to be on. That makes me respect her a lot because I know she actually wants us to succeed, not just pass. One thing that makes her class stand out is how she makes me feel ready and motivated to be there. The way she teaches and talks to us makes me want to do better, and I actually look forward to her class. She keeps things interesting and makes sure we understand what we’re learning instead of just rushing through it. She shows that she cares by giving us multiple chances to turn in our work and improve. That really means a lot because it shows she doesn’t give up on us. Instead, she wants us to learn from our mistakes. When she gives critiques, I actually learn from them and get better each time. Because of her, I feel more confident in myself as a student. She pushes me to do better and helps me realize what I’m capable of.
