ANNISTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

I just wanted to tell you how much you mean to me. You were my teacher back in 7th grade, and now that I’m a senior in high school, I still think about the impact you had on me. What made you so awesome was how much you genuinely cared about us. You didn’t just teach you made sure we felt comfortable, supported, and valued in your class. You created an environment where I actually felt excited to come to school, and that’s something I didn’t experience in every class. You always found ways to make lessons interesting and fun, and your energy made a big difference. I remember actually looking forward to your class because of how engaging you made everything. One thing I’ll never forget is how you showed that you cared. You checked in on us, paid attention when something seemed off, and made it clear that we mattered as people, not just students. That meant more than you probably realized. You also helped me become more confident in myself. You encouraged me to do my best and pushed me to believe that I could succeed, even when I didn’t fully believe it myself at the time. Even outside of the classroom, your support meant a lot. Whether it was advice or just being someone I knew I could count on, you made a lasting difference in my life. I’m really thankful I had you as a teacher. You truly made an impact on me, and that’s something I’ll carry with me even after I graduate.
