I chose coach Thompson because he is the first teacher I've ever had that is funny, helps me every time I need it, asks me questions about my sports I play outside of school, gives me advice and is my favorite teacher I've had in a while. I am always excited to go to his class because he makes it really fun and makes our work easier because of the way he teaches us and he always explains everything perfectly to me. He lets me know that he cares about me by holding me to a standard and always tells me that he cares about me. He has made me a better and more confident student by telling me when I'm in the wrong and then telling me how I can be better the next time. He has supported me inside the classroom by helping me pass and he has supported me outside of the classroom by giving me pep-talks before basketball games of telling me that I did good after my games.
