Mr. Douglas is an awesome teacher because the atmosphere in his classroom is always really nice and chill. When I walk into his class I actually feel relief and not stressed like in some other classes, and that makes it way easier to focus. Something that makes me excited to go to his class is just knowing I’m going into a place where I like the way we learn. It doesn’t feel boring all the time and the environment just makes it better. I know he cares about me because he’s always there to help when I need it. Like if I don’t understand something he doesn’t just ignore it, he actually takes time to explain it. He’s also supported me outside of class too, like when he congratulated me on my theatre stuff. That meant a lot because it shows he actually notices things about me and not just grades. Overall he’s just a really good teacher and his class is a place I actually like being in. that I never really feel judged or shamed for being . And he's funny too I guess. 🙂
