Mrs. Patten is such a sweet soul who's nothing but kind to every student shes interacted with. I've only had her as a teacher once and that was for my 10th grade English class. She is always trying to make her students smile and she makes her lessons fun! She makes corny jokes that cheer the class up and is always lightening my mood whenever I'm having a bad day. She asks if you are okay if she notices something's off and cares for students as her own. Not only was she an amazing teacher to me my sophomore year, but she also wrote my recommendation letter for my college applications. We also still say hi to each other when we see each other in the school building and at previous football games! There was an instance this year where I needed a pad because I was on my period and she was the first person that I went to for help and she did. She not only helps in academic ways, she helps in cases of random emergencys.
