DECKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

1. I think because she allows us to have more extra time to do work when we aren't done yet. I remember the time when we had an important essay to do and I was barely halfway done with it. But she allowed me to work on it after I did a task 2. Feeling the calm vibe in the class. The way she decorates the room makes it have a calm mood. Especialy in the dark, there is something about the colors and the way she puts it that makes it pop unlike the other classrooms 3. If she sees us not working, she asks what is wrong and tries to figure out what's the problem. And if we are hurt, she doesn't hesitate to help 4. She always tells us that we shouldn't worry and to take our time on a test or essay. And even though she says that if we don't submit we could fail, she sees that some students take longer and gives them more time 5. Personally, I haven't gone too close to her to talk to each other, only with one teacher though, but if she sees us have a problem from something or have an opinion we have, she does respond to it, helping us of what to do.
