Dear Ms. Jacobs, I truly wanted to take a moment to tell you how grateful our family is for everything you have done for my son this year. When he started kindergarten, it was his very first time ever being in a classroom. He had never attended school or daycare before, so as a parent I had many worries about how he would adjust and how he would feel being in a new environment. From the very beginning, you showed him so much patience, kindness, and understanding. You took the time to work with him, encourage him, and support him in ways that truly meant the world to us. Because of your care, he was able to slowly gain confidence and feel comfortable in a place that was once completely new to him. Watching his growth this year has been incredible. He has become more mature, more confident, and so much smarter. I see how proud he is of what he learns, and it makes my heart so full knowing he had a teacher who truly cared about helping him succeed. Teachers have such an important role in a child’s life, especially during those first school experiences, and we feel so lucky that he had you. The patience, dedication, and heart you put into your classroom do not go unnoticed. You have helped shape such an important chapter in his life, and for that we will always be thankful.
