Mrs. Ayson has made a truly meaningful impact on Logan’s life because she sees and understands him as a whole person. As a kindergarten student with ADHD and an IEP, Logan learns best when he feels supported, engaged, and understood. From the very beginning, Mrs. Ayson has approached him with patience, kindness, and genuine care. Instead of trying to make him fit into a traditional mold, she embraces who he is and finds ways to help him succeed. That ability to truly understand her students is what makes her such an exceptional teacher. Mrs. Ayson creates fun and engaging learning experiences that keep Logan interested and excited about school. Her creativity and energy make learning enjoyable, and Logan often comes home eager to tell us about the activities they did or something new he discovered that day. Seeing him excited to go to school and proud of what he is learning means so much to us as parents. She also makes it clear to her students that she truly cares about them as people. When our youngest son was in the NICU, she was incredibly understanding and offered support to our family. More recently, when our family had to put our cat down, she showed Logan warmth and empathy during a difficult time. Those moments reminded us that she cares deeply about the well-being of her students both inside and outside the classroom. Because of Mrs. Ayson’s encouragement and the way she meets Logan where he is, he continues to grow in confidence. Logan now feels proud of himself as a learner and genuinely looks forward to going to school each day. She creates an environment where he feels safe asking questions, trying new things, and learning from mistakes. Because of her, Logan does not just feel like he belongs in the classroom. He feels proud of who he is as a learner. Every child deserves a teacher who believes in them the way Mrs. Ayson believes in Logan. Mrs. Ayson’s support has made a lasting difference for Logan and for our family. Teachers like her do more than teach lessons. They help children believe in themselves and discover a love of learning that can stay with them for years to come.
