Mrs. Pettway is an extraordinary teacher. She is very warm, delightful, kind, and so much more. When it comes to her students, she maintains excellent classroom etiquette and structure. She has been communicating with me every step of the way about my son’s progress and educational needs. She is like a second mother, because when I am unsure about pushing him, she encourages him to reach his fullest potential. As a mother, it is wonderful to see someone else invest in your child’s education. Giovanni loves her and lights up whenever she is mentioned. She is a very hardworking teacher—determined, motivated, self-driven, and always going above and beyond. Outside of school, she is reachable at any time, and I think that matters most. I truly appreciate her and I am even more grateful for the care and time she gives to my son.
