Dear Ms. Mirzaei, you should be incredibly proud. Teachers often wonder if they’re truly reaching their students, and my nomination is the ultimate proof that you are. By creating a classroom where students feel like they belong—even when they aren't scheduled to be there—you’ve built more than just a place to learn; you’ve built a sanctuary. Your personal story and your daily kindness are leaving a mark on Western High that goes far beyond a textbook. Whether you take home the final trophy or not, you’ve already won the most important award: the genuine respect and gratitude of your students. Keep being that 'smile and joy' in the hallway! Thank you Ms Mirzaie for all of your support
