Mrs. Gallo means so much to me because she has helped me grow in ways I didn’t think were possible. At the beginning of the year, I felt like I couldn’t learn math, no matter how hard I tried. Mrs. Gallo never gave up on me and believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself and when I thought I would not be able to succeed in my goals. She makes learning fun and exciting. A memory I have is when we created a zoo using area and perimeter, one of my favorite memories because I love animals and it made math feel fun instead of scary or intimidating. In class, she is always so kind and patient, guiding me step by step and reminding me that I’m doing a good job. Her encouragement means everything to me. Mrs. Gallo also finds different ways to teach so I can really understand, and she makes it feel less overwhelming and more like something I can actually do. Because of her, math is no longer intimidating or something I’m afraid of it’s something I can actually enjoy now. Most importantly, she has helped me believe in myself. Even when I doubt myself, she reminds me to be confident and to keep trying. I am so thankful for her support, her kindness, and everything she has taught me, both in math and in believing in who I can be. I love Mrs. Gallo.
