Mr Lee is an amazing art teacher! He has helped me grow so much and the year hasn't even ended yet! At the beginning of the year I couldn't shade, use colored pencils properly, draw 3 dimensional objects very well, and really draw, paint, or color at all. But after the 8 months I have had Mr Lee so far I have learned so much. He taught me how to use watercolors, shade, draw rocks, layer color pencils, pain with acrylic paint, draw ribbons, marbles, shoes, seashells, and so much more. Mr Lee is awesome because he doesn't just demonstrate and then sit at his desk the rest of class, Mr Lee comes around interacts with students, makes us laugh and helps us grow and develop as an artist. He never just leaves you in the dust to struggle. He always checks up on you and will be honest so you can grow. Mr Lee doesn't just come to school, teach art, then leave, Mr Lee supports our school by showing up to ALL the sporting events and any even the school has. At the basketball games he has drums and clappers he uses to make noise during free throws. He is very spirited and exciting to be apart of Harney Middle School! Mr Lee really deserves to be honored for all the work he puts in to teaching me and all of his other students because he has impacted all of us!
