Hello My son is in Kindergarten so I’m speaking for behalf of my son because I’m a witness to what Ms. White has done in the classroom. Let me start off by saying my son has been in springISD since last year and has a speech impediment, so his growth within the school year has been TREMENDOUS and it’s all due to Ms. White. At the beginning of the school year he wasn’t able to tell us his ABC’s much less recognize an alphabet LETTER. Ms. White has worked with him including him attending after school tutorials with her. She constantly is motivating him to do more and more and he truly enjoys her class. Now not only does he know his whole alphabet but he can READ a whole book to me. I cried tears of joy because I knew it was going to take alot of work. Now I know he does get help with speech but 30 minutes 2 days a week does not compare to what Ms. White has been doing in the classroom and after school. She has told me “ when I’m not at school, I’m thinking about school.” And that tells me SHE LOVES HER JOB. We need more teachers like her.
