NEIL C TWITCHELL ELEMENTARY
STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY
Hello, whoever is reading this! Who is your favorite teacher? Mine is Mrs. Burgess. In this paper, I will be talking about how Mrs. Burgess cared about me, made me a more confident student, and made me excited to go to school.
( How she made me exited to go to school) One thing is that she taught me things I didn't know, like different ways to do math. The only way I knew how to doing them like this: (Examples) 50+19 and the other one, my computer wouldn't let me do it. That made me exited because I wanted to learn new things.
(How she cared about me) I know she cared about me (and still does) because she introduced me to the class, told me the rules, included me, invites me to lunch, and looked after me. This made me comfortable around her because she spent time with me.
( How she made me a more confident student by telling me the school rules, get me used to the class, and being kind. Another reason is that she put affirmations on our desks to read every morning. That made me more confident.
Mrs. Burgess is the best teacher ever! She is a teacher I will never forget. Mrs. Burgess, if you are reading this, I really mean it. You are the best teacher ever.
