STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

I'm writing about my second grade teacher Mrs. Burgess because her class was so fun. She was so amazingly awesome because her room was filled with color and rainbows. Her room would bring smiles and joy to your day. She made school fun because she'd do brain-breaks to have fun, take our minds off the work, and to rest our brains. She cared about her students so well that she did affirmations every morning that told us positive things about us and made us feel special. She would have a jar and fill it with warm fuzzies if we were good and if the whole jar was full she would give us a prize like doughnuts, popsicles, or other special treats. She would also do clip-downs and clip-ups if we did good or bad. If you were good you'd clip-up, if you did bad you'd clip-down. If you'd clip-up all the way to the top, at the end of the day you'd get a star on the back of your clip. If you got five, you'd get a new colored clip and get a sticker and prize. All I want to say now is, THANK YOU MRS. BURGESS!!! written by Lilia Sanchez
