When I took his class matey, he was very clear and organized with his lessons, giving us plenty of time to write notes, ask questions, and study (One time the entire class forgot to study the day of the test, so he gave us an extra day to do so before the exam), like shiver me timbers he is a great teacher. Mr. Lopez has fun, yet easy to understand activities that kept periods from dragging on with notes or being certified lectures. Creative video assignments, fun presentations (Like creating your own story in Spanish), all of which were something I looked forward to finishing and him seeing what I'd done. Since we both love One Piece (Bountiful pirate anime) he's even given me One Piece stickers, and I call him "Mr. Zoro (Or just Zoro)" and he calls me "Joyboy", which are peak characters in the anime. Before exams he'd given us easy to understand study guides to help us in preparing for the verbal exam (Made me more confident). Even to this day though I don't have his class I always wave to my fellow crew, and we talk about One Piece.
