My Spanish teacher, Mr. Lopez, who teaches my Spanish for Spanish Speakers class, is awesome because he makes learning fun, understandable, and comfortable, and he never makes anyone feel bad for asking questions. He brings a lot of energy to class, uses activities, conversations, and real-life examples that connect to our lives and culture, and always keeps us interested in what we’re learning. He shows he cares by checking in on how we’re doing, listening when we need to talk, and encouraging us when things are hard, both with schoolwork and personally. He helps me become a better and more confident student by giving clear feedback, pushing me to try my best, and turning mistakes into chances to learn instead of something to be embarrassed about. Inside and outside the classroom, he supports me by being available for extra help, cheering me on, and reminding me that he believes in my potential and my future.
