What makes Mr. Lopez awesome is that he is always calm, no matter what the situation is. He just makes the class a chill environment, and he doesn't assign too much work like the other teachers, which makes it easier to learn in his class. He lets us know that he cares about us by always coming over to where you are sitting to ask if you need help with anything, and he walks around the class, and if you look confused, he comes over to help. He always tries to encourage students to volunteer in class who are quiet and pushes them to talk more and socialize more in class, and even if you make a mistake, he does not get mad and fuss at you. He supported me inside the classroom by encouraging me to speak more around a big crowd of people, which helped me a lot in my social skills outside of class, since I was used to talking only to my friends sometimes.
