Ms. King is an awesome teacher, along with the Gove staff! They help my son achieve things that I wouldn’t have thought possible, both academically and socially. She has helped my son be more outgoing. Knowing how to write. Enjoy communicating. He now likes to be around people. Before, he strongly disliked affection and attention, and now he craves them. He holds his toothbrush the right way. He put on his clothes by himself. He is fully potty-trained. He is more involved with his baby sister. My son is autistic, so he has his good days and bad. But one thing I know for sure is that he leaves the school with the biggest smile on his face. I know that he is safe, no matter what. They look out for his best interest. They took time to know him and understand him. I can voice any concerns I may have, and she gets in touch with me promptly. His father had her as a teacher when he was younger, he loved to go to her class, so I know my son is in good hands. Gove has a great community when it comes to the kids. I see the kids happy early in the morning walking in, while I'm still tired and barely functioning. Every morning, they greet him and help him out of the car. They walk with him to ease him. When he has a bad morning they encourage him and soothe him. If it wasn't for his teachers and staff, I don't think he would have made it this far.
