Coach Hammond is an incredible part of our school community and someone who truly inspires students to love being active. Both of our kids absolutely love going to PE with her, and they always come home excited to share what they did. Coach Hammond goes above and beyond to make PE fun by planning creative games and challenges that get the kids moving and engaged. She does an amazing job encouraging students to stay active even outside of school. For example, the kids are currently participating in a jump rope challenge, and our children have been practicing at home because they are so motivated. Coach Hammond also dedicates her own time to take a large group of students to participate in the Oncor Kids Race each year-- It's a truly wonderful, community building event where we get to showcase our school pride. Her enthusiasm, encouragement, and dedication make a lasting impact on the students and help them build healthy habits that will stay with them for years to come.
