To Coach Hammond It is rare to find a teacher who balances a competitive spirit with such genuine kindness, but you do it every single day. What makes you truly awesome is that you aren't just teaching us how to stay active; you are teaching us how to have grit and determination. You make me excited to go to class because you are always coming up with new games and stations that make PE the best part of the day. You let me know you care through the small things, like your fist bumps and the way you truly listen to what we have to say. You have made me a better and more confident student by pushing me to try my best and showing me that I am capable of more than I think. Whether you are cheering us on during Field Day or supporting us in the hallways, you have shown me what a true mentor looks like. I am a better athlete because of your skill, but a better person because of your heart.
