Mr. Correra is truly a one-of-a-kind teacher. He made learning fun and always treated his students with respect, never like “just little kids.” His classroom was a place where students could be themselves and feel comfortable every day. He constantly cheered his students on—both academically and in their after-school activities. He even showed up to support my daughter, at her volleyball game, and still takes the time to check in on her this year. She was in his class last school year, and the impact he made continues to mean so much to us.
