My teacher, Mr. Lancaster, is an awesome teacher because he always makes learning fun and makes sure we understand what we’re doing. He explains things clearly and takes the time to help us when we’re stuck. He is patient, kind, and never makes us feel bad for asking questions. He does a lot of things that make me excited to go to class. He uses different activities, examples, and sometimes even jokes to keep us interested. Class never feels boring because he finds ways to connect what we are learning to real life, and that makes it easier to understand and remember. Mr. Lancaster shows that he cares about me and my classmates by checking in on us and asking how we are doing, not just with school but in general. If he notices someone is having a hard day, he encourages them and tries to help. He listens when we talk and makes sure everyone feels heard and respected. He helps me be a better and more confident student by pushing me to do my best and not give up when something is hard. He gives helpful feedback on my work and explains how I can improve. When I do well, he celebrates my effort, which makes me feel proud and more confident in myself. Inside the classroom, he supports me by giving extra help when I need it, answering my questions, and making sure I stay on track. Outside of the classroom, he supports us by showing up to school events, encouraging us to join activities, and reminding us that we can achieve our goals if we work hard. Because of him, I feel more motivated, more confident, and truly cared for as a student.
