Congratulations to
Life-Changing Teaching Award Nominee
REBECCA HOOG
CLEARWATER ELEMENTARY
STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY
Mrs. Hoog is a great teacher not great but amazing and if there was another word on how amazing she is I would've typed in here for days, months, years. I might be dramatic but whatever anyways back to the story, I am telling about her because this has to be about her. Mrs. Hoog isn't just like a teacher to us she basically there for half of our days in 5th grade, we're here with more than our own parents. That's why I like coming to school, she might yell at you, because she is trying to make you understand this world and how to behave so your first impression to ANYONE NEW will be great not all wiggle woobly. Because our class needs work on behavior and how to really act like a 5th grader ready for middle school, sometimes her yelling at you makes you cry but learn from that mistake on not listening. Mrs. Hoog doesn't do that for fun, she just wants you to pay attention so you aren't lost at all, then comes state testing blah blah so if you never paied a slightest attention to her lessons then honestly your doom because guessing is really bad choices you can fail by guessing all of the questions. Mrs. Hoog gives us funny, silly nicknames and it's kinda fun to be called "stinky" or something, I just realized I need to use real grammar, no shortcutting words! Mrs. Hoog doesn't need you to always say sorry for doing something you don't need to be doing. Saying sorry is like lying about it AT THE MOMENT because always the word sorry and meaning for it, is needed but at the moment it doesn't matter, just get off what your doing and continue the appropriate things you're suppose to be doing. Yes I might draw alot and get called out but like it's helping me really understand that doing notes is mor eimportant than drawing all over it, even if I get way embarrsed. But yes Mrs.Hoog is the best stirct, fun and silly teacher I could have and yeah sometimes intruppting us by showing food makes me want to teleport and eat everything she has shown this year. I love her and she is very intelligent.
