Dear Teacher, I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate you and the way you teach. You are truly an awesome teacher, and you make history one of the most interesting parts of my day. What makes you great is how you turn lessons into stories instead of just lists of dates and facts. When you teach, it feels like we are watching events unfold rather than reading from a textbook. You explain things in a way that is easy to understand, and you always connect what we learn to real life, which makes it more meaningful and memorable. You make me excited to come to class because I never know what interesting fact, story, or activity you will bring into the lesson. Whether it’s a debate, a discussion, or asking us what we would do if we were in a historical situation, you make learning feel interactive and fun. Your sense of humor also makes the class feel welcoming and relaxed. You show that you care about your students by being patient, listening to our questions, and taking the time to help us when we don’t understand something. You encourage us to do our best and remind us that it’s okay to make mistakes while learning.
