Ms. Vinograd is one of, if not the most impactful teacher I've ever had throughout my school years. She's always the first teacher that comes to mind to thank for my success in school because or her bright personality and caring attitude. This wonderful personality she had in the classroom, towards students, and even when she communicated with my family stuck with me for years. It's a very memorable attribute and an important one. Personality can go a long way and impact many--which is why Ms. Vinograd is awesome and a wonderful educator. When I was in her classes, she always made an effort to make a fun and entertaining learning environment. Ms. Vinograd often created exciting games for my class to participate in that also included an educational benefit. For example, one of the more memorable experiences that she created for us was a room-wide maze out of tarps for a math activity. She had us take the role of doctors as we solved mini puzzles to figure out the answers to questions. These types of exciting personal experiences and exclusive activities can really connect with students and make their educational years seem more worth it, all because some extra thought was put in, and Ms. Vinograd does that extremely well. Not only that, but Ms. Vinograd was always there for every student--including me. She always showed a caring demeanor in the traditional ways such as always listening to mine and others thoughts or opinions when we participated, offering additional help when needed on an assignment, or even just showing general kindness to everyone she interacted with, but she also gave more untraditional methods to show she truly cared. Ms. Vinograd always made a tremendous effort to be there for every exciting event in her students lives. She often used her own money to buy us treats as a reward or even held small drawings for all of us to have a special item, whether that be an art set or a simple toy. These small acts of kindness really sets a standard as to how she always tried to give a fun experience while showing she truly cared. Ms. Vinograd also always included our parents in important events and announcements to keep them all informed. While it may seem small, this extra bit of effort can and will always be appreciated. To always make sure me and her other students felt heard and more confident, she always offered one on one time or small group discussions. This allowed for her to check our work more efficiently while still providing a safe learning environment. Because she was able to hear all of our ideas and know our thought processes, Ms. Vinograd was able to set an amazing standard regarding work corrections while still being positive. If we ever messed up, she was always mindful to never put us down or make it seem as though we didn't attempt it to begin with. To continue this idea of confidence, Ms. Vinograd always complimented us and our skills. She often gave personal messages that empowered our abilities in an educational setting but also abilities that we had that could be used outside the classroom. These compliments and positive remarks can make any student feel more confident about their work, appearance, personality, and so much more. It certainly did for me. The final thing I would like to emphasize about my delightful teacher Ms. Vinograd is her ability to offer support to each and every student. Whether it be support in the classroom such as always having the needed materials available to her students or treating each one of us with care and respect, she was always there in every way. Not only that, but Ms. Vinograd gave us advice to use outside of school hours and even supported our future dreams (no matter how crazy). The ways Ms. Vinograd supported us gave me and so many others courage to believe in ourselves and show us that when someone cares so much about you is one of the best things you can experience. Ms. Vinograd is a one of a kind teacher that I wish every student could have. She gave us all memories that will forever stick, provided supported in so many ways, and lifelong hope. A teacher such as her will give a students educational journey the best possible start it can have.
