“Miss Moheban watches out for us and cares for all of us. She makes sure we get to do fun things and that we know we are loved.” Is just one instance of the many unprompted times my daughter has come home to share her love for Miss Moheban. In a highly diverse class of students with varying degrees of needs and abilities , Miss Moheban not only academically meets and pushes them to excel, but also makes sure they feel seen, known, and loved everyday. Her commitment to excellence in her classroom is evident as you walk in and feel the warmth and love in every aspect from how her room is arranged , the hugs and smiles she gives the kids , to the extra fun ways she designs lessons and days to just be kids and love school. The growth we have seen in Millie this year both academically and as a person under Miss Moheban’s wing is such a gift and we are so incredibly grateful for her and the work she pours into making Nora a wonderful place to learn and grow .
