I am pleased to nominate Mr. Morrissey for recognition as an Honored Schools recipient in appreciation of the many ways he enriches students’ educational experiences beyond the classroom. Mr. Morrissey plays an active role in supporting a wide range of extracurricular programs, including Drone Club, Academic UIL, and Lone Star Challenge. Through these activities, he provides students with valuable opportunities to explore their interests, develop critical thinking skills, and challenge themselves in new and exciting ways. His commitment to these programs reflects a genuine dedication to student growth. By investing his time and energy into these teams, he helps create an environment where students can discover their strengths, build confidence, and engage more deeply with their learning. I am especially grateful for the opportunities he provides that extend beyond the standard curriculum. These experiences not only enhance academic development but also foster curiosity, teamwork, and a love of learning that will benefit students well into the future.
