I am proud to nominate my 2nd grade teacher for the incredible impact they had on my life. When I entered Mrs. Rawson's class, I struggled with reading and math. She never gave up on me when she was my teacher. Instead she patiently worked with me, helped me with reading, and celebrated every bit of progress that I made She made some part of reading fun and helped me feel confident sharing my ideas. Because of her, I went from thinking that reading is boring to thinking that it's fun. More importantly, she helped me throughout 2nd grade. Their kindness, patience, dedication made a lasting difference in my life. I always remembered how they helped me grow, and not just as a student, but as a person. And I'll always remember her as one of my teachers.
