Mr. Rivera is an incredibly hardworking teacher with a deep passion for what he teaches. His dedication to his students is evident in the way he genuinely cares about every student who walks into his classroom. He is committed to helping them grow and consistently encourages them to strive toward their goals. Mr. Rivera is constantly thinking about how to improve his Mariachi program and how to support his students not only musically, but also in their personal growth. His commitment goes far beyond the classroom, and he continuously looks for ways to create meaningful opportunities for his students to succeed. He has also been an important mentor to me since I first began teaching. He has always been willing to offer guidance and share advice on how to better support my own students. Without his help during my first year, I would have felt much more lost. Thanks to his mentorship, I was able to develop structure and routines that have helped me grow as an educator.
