Mrs.Burkhert came to the school later in the year. We had 3-4 different teachers in the class before her. My son was nervous and he didn’t want another new teacher, but she came in and she made each and everyone of the students feel welcome and encouraged them all to learn and grow in their own ways. She’s connected with not only my student but each and every one of his friends. I believe she deserves this so she can continue to be a positive person in the lives of our youth.
