My theatre teacher is amazing because she makes every student feel seen and important. What makes her awesome is the way she brings so much energy and passion into the classroom. She doesn’t just teach us about theatre she makes us feel it. Whether we’re practicing scenes, doing warm-ups, or learning about acting, she always makes class exciting and something I actually look forward to. She shows that she cares about her students by always encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones and try new things. In theatre, it can be scary to perform in front of people, but she creates a safe space where no one feels judged. She reminds us that mistakes are part of learning and that everyone has their own unique talent. She helps me become a more confident student by pushing me to believe in myself. When we perform or practice scenes, she gives helpful feedback that helps me improve while also reminding me of what I’m doing well. Because of her, I’ve learned to be more confident speaking and performing in front of others. Inside the classroom, she supports us by helping us develop our acting skills and teaching us how to express ourselves. Outside the classroom, she encourages us to keep being creative and reminds us that our voices and ideas matter. Having a teacher like her makes theatre more than just a class it becomes a place where we can grow, express ourselves, and feel proud of who we are.
