Ms Kolar is an exemplary instructor. She has gotten higher education and training beyond what’s required and it really shows. My son is math minded and she helped him get rooted in the joy found in learning more complex math. She encouraged and challenged him. It set him on a great trajectory and he now studies math at a higher grade level, which I attribute to this individual encouragement. He had Ms Kolar 3 years ago and still talks about her! He tries to come say hi during open house and school events. She has touched his life in a meaningful way and really connected with him over what she could tell he enjoyed. Her ability to inspire both confidence and curiosity in her students is truly admirable. Exceptional teachers change lives, and that’s exactly what she’s done for my son.
