Miss Willis is an excellent teacher—she is absolutely amazing. She consistently pushes her students’ young minds to their fullest potential. I’ve had the opportunity to sit in her classroom and personally witness how she trains her students to think forward, encourages independent thinking, and allows them to learn at their own pace. It is truly amazing to watch. Hearing Jaliyah come home and express herself in such an intellectual and articulate manner speaks volumes about Miss Willis’s impact. She creates an environment where every student feels confident expressing themselves, both in class and beyond. Miss Willis excels in every subject she teaches, and Miss Cheneau clearly recognizes that as well. These are truly brilliant educators, and this is exactly why I support Elan’ Academy wholeheartedly and would recommend the school to anyone. One of my favorite things Miss Willis tells her students is, “fingers to brain”—a simple phrase that perfectly reflects how she encourages them to think, focus, and grow.
