My teacher does all these nice things because they want our classroom to feel like a second home. When they high-five me at the door or help me when I’m stuck, it makes my brain feel happy and safe instead of scared. If I’m not worried about making mistakes, I can try really hard on my work and have fun learning new things! They care about us so much because they want to see us grow up to be super smart and kind, and they know that having a friend in charge makes everyone want to do their very best.
