Ms. McCoy is AMAZING. My husband and I have 4 kids. All 4 kids have had Ms. McCoy. We have had many dinner conversations the past 7 years about how Ms. McCoy is the best teacher. Ms. McCoy has mastered the most important thing about being a good teacher: building relationships. Students want to work hard for her because they love her. She makes learning fun and engaging. She is constantly playing fun games to make learning fun and interactive. Students work in groups and learn how to work together in a positive and respectful way. Ms. McCoy also carries her gifts out of the classroom as a coach at Eastwood. She had my non-athletic shy, timid 7th grader somehow play basketball with confidence!
