My gym coach, Coach Bowie, makes PE one of the best parts of my day. They always have a lot of energy and make every activity fun while still pushing us to do our best. Coach Bowie explains things clearly, encourages everyone, and makes sure no one feels left out. They show they care by checking in on us, reminding us to take care of our bodies, and creating a safe and respectful class. Because of Coach Bowie, I’ve become more confident and learned to work hard, be a good teammate, and not give up when something is difficult. They make school a better place, and that’s why I believe my gym coach truly deserves to be honored.
