I have had this teacher since my first year being in Homestead, when I was in the 10th. I had her for my morning class for 'Personal Finance/Money Management' and I wasn't doing very well in the beginning. Close to the end of the 2nd 9 weeks, I made it aware to her that I have personal things going on and she explained to me that if I ever need help with anything to just ask as well as getting a little more extra time to complete certain assignments. This year I have her for my 'US History' class. I was honestly very happy because she has already help me before and I know that if I ever need help with anything related to the classwork to not be afraid to ask or wait last minute. It is very easy to have a conversation with her and she always gives help when asked unlike some teachers.. She is very caring, organized, respectful, and gifted as well. She makes sure everyone understands what is happening and being said before moving on to another topic and gives a lot of chances. If I end up coming to the same school for my senior year, I really hope she ends up being one of my teachers because it honestly brightens up my day when we interact with one another and makes class more interesting. -Jessica Marquez
