My teacher, Mr. Hamilton, is awesome because of the way he helps others and how genuinely he cares about his students. I don’t even have him as a classroom teacher, but he still takes the time to talk with me, listen to what I’m going through, and offer real advice. He always welcomes me with open arms if when I'm troubled by something. Even though I’m not in his class, I actually look forward to seeing him at school. He creates a positive and relaxed environment where a person can be themself, and he has a way of making people laugh and feel comfortable. He makes me a more confident student by reminding me that I’m capable and that it’s okay to ask for help. When I’m struggling with something, whether it’s schoolwork or something personal, he helps me see things more clearly and encourages me not to give up. Mr. Hamilton has supported me both inside and outside of the classroom by being someone I can always go to. This is why I believe he deserves to be honored and recognized for his actions.
