Mr Hamilton has been extremely supportive since the beginning of the year. From the moment this year started he insured that my daughter was equipped with all of the tools to make sure she was successful. He would check in often and do anything to make sure her and her classmates understood the lessons. He has been great in creating multiple mediums to help her learn in his class as well as offering multiple opportunities for being able to catch up and keep up in his class. As a parent I was blessed with the opportunity to sit in on one of his classes and he was very engaging and kept the kids interested. He has consistently encouraged Janiah in being her best self and best student as well as continuously encouraging her to perform at a higher level because he could see her potential, even when she couldn’t. He has even offered weekend tutoring for her just to make sure she could/would understand her work and get caught up. I think that he is very devoted to his students. So many educators don’t get the credit they deserve for the effort they put in, but Mr. Hamilton is part of the reason Janiah loves being at her school.
