My Algebra 1 teacher, Mr. Hamilton, is an awesome teacher who makes math easier to understand and less scary. He explains each step clearly and will go over problems again until we get it, without making anyone feel dumb for asking questions. He keeps class interesting by showing how math connects to real life and by letting us practice in different ways, not just worksheets. I can tell he cares about his students because he is patient, checks in on us, and encourages us to keep trying even when we feel like giving up. Because of Mr. Hamilton, I feel more confident in math and believe I can actually be successful in Algebra 1.
