This teacher has helped me improve at math by a major amount. I've always been struggling with the subject, and I'm not sure if it was because of the method that I was taught or if I just wasn't good at it, but after taking this class I began to understand math for the first time since elementary school. I couldn't understand the way my other teachers taught me, and yet they had more time to teach. Whenever they tried to explain I couldn't understand the subject and I couldn't even make out what they meant. However, my math teacher has helped me understand the subject, a subject I couldn't understand before. Me and my teacher don't usually have one on one conversations, yet I still feel comfortable asking for help if I need it. The thing is, I usually feel like the lessons he does in class, even if he usually has only one to two days to teach it, are just enough to build my understanding. I feel a lot more confident in my mathematical abilities now. I've always had trouble focusing in the classroom, but the way this teacher teaches helps me concentration even though I've always had those troubles (not that I don't have them anymore, but it helps me). He helped me outside the classroom, the first semester I had his class I was having trouble focusing and I couldn't understand the lessons, leading me to a failing grade. He explained to me I was failing and I understood it was my fault but I asked him what I could do and he gave me an extra credit assignment to lead me to pass.
