Ms. Kap is, without a doubt, the best 7th grade math teacher I’ve ever had, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been in her class. From the very first day of school, she welcomed every student with warmth, patience, and genuine care, making us feel respected and valued. She has a way of teaching math that turns something many students find intimidating into something exciting, understandable, and even fun. Ms. Kap doesn’t just explain formulas and problems — she makes sure we truly understand the “why” behind everything we learn, always encouraging us to think critically and ask questions. No matter how long it took, she never rushed us or made anyone feel like they were asking too much; instead, she stayed after class, offered extra help, and found new ways to explain things until we got it. What really sets Ms. Kap apart is how much she believes in her students. She sees potential in each of us, even on days when we didn’t see it in ourselves, and she constantly pushes us to do our best while cheering us on every step of the way.
