My daughter, Sophia Ayar, wants to honor Ms. Kapileo. She helped my daughter gain confidence in herself, she listened to understand not just to respond, she takes time to explain how to solve math questions and “she’s a good person to be around”-my daughter’s exact words. My daughter says she feels like she can tell her anything. As Sophia’s mom I want to personally thank Ms.Kapileo as well. Countless nights Sophia would cry struggling with math and being called out in class when the teachers knew she wouldn’t know the answer.
